shh.. i’m 24 today

I am a case of beer today, nothing special, b-days are not the same as when I was younger, now it is just a reminder of how much time of wasted (err.. spent) at university.
At age 5, a year is 20% of your life. At ten, 10%. Twenty, 5%. So today I celebrate the passing of 4.17% of my life that has whipped by in 365 days. I look forward to the next 366 (2004 is a leap year) days since they will seem to pass even faster (when a year will only be 4% of all the days that I have lived). It is all relative.

Now don’t get me wrong, I don’t want to seem old and bitter. I look forward to my future very much, I cannot wait to get married, start a family, and share birthdays with friends, family and loved ones. (just don’t remind me of mine 8).

    It may be all relative, but a year is what you make of it!!! This next year for you will be exciting… your last year of university, graduating and the starting of our life together!!! It’s going to be a wonderful 366 days!!!
