SOLAR has spent too much time in the sun

Registration day. This year MAC put student registration online, which in theory is a good thing. So i promptly arrive at work early to login and plan my last 8 month as an undergraduate. Let the fun begin.
The first thing that bothers me is when I logged in to SOLAR it asks if i am who my student number corresponds to, by including my name and Social Insurance number. Gee if I can easily guess someone 4 digit pin (10^4 won’t take long) I can find out their SIN…
Then what threw me for a loop was, “Are you expected to graduate upon completion of the next school year”… wow … the end is near.
Then it wouldn’t let me register for SFWR 4EF3 and 4TE3, because they have limited enrollment I need permission. Umm, 4TE3 is required, why do I need permission. Anyhow, a walk down the hall to Laurie LeBlanc in the CAS office got things straight. But the poorly designed system might let too many CS students into the courses.
Finally I can’t take the dick easy COMM 4QE3 (e-commerce) class without 2QB3, which is only offered term 2. I tried, but the commies are trying to get accredited and they won’t let anyone without prereq’s in… BOOOOO.
Anyhow, one year to go… then…. MASc || job || start a comp || sleep.
