Thanks to Rogers liberal ISP admins, pavlidis.org is now hosted through its network. Bye bye Cogeco, and its tight port filtering.

You lucky S.O.B. ;) Unfortunatly my other connection is also cogeco.

Humour me and tell me what cogeco is filtering. Having been on both networks, I never really noticed any differences and all my services continue to work with no problems…

As a side and related note, Sympatico’s DSL is just horrible. Bitch to setup (plug and play DHCP on cable is so nice) and it’s so slow. I seem to max out here at like 12-15K/sec and at that point, the web even becomes unsurfable.

From scanning your box Baron, the following ports are filtered by Cogeco from networks outside of Cogeco network: 25, 135-139, 445.
