Bruce Peninsula Camping Trip

In a last minute “Hey, let’s go camping this weekend!?” moment, we booked the closest public campsite available at Bruce Peninsula National Park. Bruce is at the northern point of the peninsula that is bordered by Lake Huron to the west and Georgeian Bay to the east. The park is 320 Km north of Toronto, and along the nothern edge of the Niagara Escarpement.

Eventhough it was only for the weekend, we had an great time. The weather was perfect, the scenery is beautiful, and the stay was peaceful. We lucked out, and from our observation, had the best site in the park. Next to the water, good privacy, and one of the biggest in the campground. Swimming was good in Cyprus Lake, it was warm and shallow. We saw a snake chow down on a red salamander, had a rabbit come and visit, but we missed the black bear that was roaming in the park.

See the pictures.
