I was so close to being out

After completing my undergraduate degree in Software Engineering in April, I thought I was out of school… at least for a year or two. As usual, life does not play out as planned. I had my graduate student orientation session today, my first class is Thursday. Oh so close. Postponing my foray into the “real world” is an investment in my future potential. I’m hoping it will give me time to pursue other interests that will payoff in the long term. Time that I would not have if I were doing the daily grind of work, home, sleep. The problem with going back to school is the limited cash flow. So I’m soliciting side jobs:

Planning on migrating to open source products on Windows (i.e. Firefox, Thunderbird, OpenOffice), or entirely to OSS on Linux, *BSD, etc. Looking to minimize the cost of upgrading network computers. Keep your current, old and slow systems, that will run like a brand new and faster system. Want a mulitmedia box that is a PVR, movie and music library/player for your home entertainment system? Looking at rollilng out Wi-Fi? Need it secured or metered…

Send me an email.
