Macworld UK - Merrill Lynch downgrades Apple
Seems as though the iPod hype is cooling where it counts, toward the stock price. Although the company is still going strong, things are going to slow with both the iPod sales, and with the Mac computer sales. Wall Street is the first to jump, they do the research, they are in the know. So… you should folllow. If you have seen double digit percentage growth with AAPL, it is time to take your profits, walk away, at least for now. I see a fall for now, then a bounce with the MacTel rollout and video iPods.
Apple’s Financials - Forbes.com. Apple’s P/E is 45, and Price/Cash Flow is 37.5. In other words, overvalued due to hype.
Update 2005-10-12: Told you so. AAPL down 10% in the past 2 weeks.
