Huff, puff, bring the house down

Today is the day that the 3 little pigs huff, and puff, and vote to bring down the 38th Parliament. Bringing to an end the House of the big bad wolf.
Tune into ParlVU online, or your local cable TV at 18:30 to see the fall of a government, the 5th time in the history of Canada.
Don’t think I’m being harsh labelling the leaders of Canada’s political parties, because in the next month or two they will be calling each other much worse. Personally, I’ll vote for what ever party is civil, and talks about the real issues that faces Canadians and impacts on our daily lives. Unfortunately, that is likely going to be limited in the Green Party. This election is going to get ugly. Many more American style attack ads, that will skew the truth (at best) or (at worse) make out right false accusations [the Conservative party has already started this with the organised crime accusation].
The worst part of it all, is that none of this is necessary now, since it was already agreed to occur in March. So instead of many important pieces of legislation being past (CBC: Unfinished Legislation - execpt Bill C-60’s copyright changes), parliamentarians will be trudge through the snow trying to get your vote.
Update: The deed is done, the government has fallen. Let the spinning, smearing, and snowballs fly.
