Microsoft drops Mac IE | CNET News.com

This story is making the rounds on all the news sites, especially the Apple focus ones. Why? Between Firefox and Safari, I figured users would have dropped Mac IE a long time ago, and this is yet another trend Microsoft is slow to catch on to.

Looking forward it is an interesting trend. The question now remains when will Microsoft drop Office support on the Mac.

How many products does Microsoft currently “port” to the Mac? Is all that is left Office?

Will the new hardware in the pipeline make it any easier for Microsoft development? I wouldn’t think so but I’m not qualified to make that judgement.

How will Mac users communicate with the rest of the world without Microsoft Word! The sky is falling!
