IF YOU RUN WINDOWS 95 THROUGH WINDOWS XP GO INSTALL THIS NOW!

What that loud enough for you? This is so critical because the security flaw affects every version of windoze and microsoft will not release an official patch until january 10th. So if you have a winders box, go patch it now. Better yet, go install Linux or buy a Mac.

Come on people. I don’t understand how a company that has $40 Billion in the bank and some of the smartest technological minds on the planet cannot get this fixed faster than some dude with a blog. And when said company resists, why the hell are you still doing business with them!

UPDATE: Microsoft has released the patch here, a couple of days earlier than announced — a couple of days later than it should have been.
