CBC News: Man shot by Cheney says he feels bad for the VP
How much power does Dick Cheney have? We all know he’s the one pulling W’s strings, the man behind the curtain getting a good piece of the profits that his companies are making off the ever-growing $427 billion (in 2005) fiscal deficit.
But to get the guy you shot (and who later had a heart attack because of your crappy aim) feels sorry for you! Dude is lucky to be alive and he feels sorry for you!
Heck, that is more power than Mansbridge has over Rex Murphy. How he gets a distinguished veteran journalist to read email on air? I’ll never figure out.
One thing is clear, the current US administration can and will do what it wants, when it wants, and does not care what anyone says or thinks. You know, because letting the public know that the No. 2 man in government just shot someone, with an expired hunting license, (and who know what other dirt will come out of this story), is too complex a story for the general public to understand. It is not, but coming from the guys that turned state-sponsored attacks on innocent people, started an illegal war based on false evidence, holding people without charge, and that lost the election the first time around but still won because daddy’s friends thought you should win, in to “You’re either with us or against us”… I guess it is too complex.
