Common Dreams | Bush Was Set on Path to War, Memo by British Adviser Says, found at matthewgood/mblog

But behind closed doors, the president was certain that war was inevitable. During a private two-hour meeting in the Oval Office on Jan. 31, 2003, he made clear to Prime Minister Tony Blair of Britain that he was determined to invade Iraq without the second resolution, or even if international arms inspectors failed to find unconventional weapons, said a confidential memo about the meeting written by Mr. Blair’s top foreign policy adviser and reviewed by The New York Times.

I do not understand why nobody within the country or within the international community REALLY does anything? US dominance will fall quickly when it does, I guess none of them want to be the ones to give the ball a kick from the top of the mountain, or ivory tower.

If you have not noticed, the US “Empire” is spread so thin and shallow it is ready to collapse. $9 trillion debt, $400 billion deficit, $726 billion trade deficit. The military says that it is spread thin already, forget about going in to Iran, North Korea or China. It is just hoping it Iron Curtain through Eastern Europe into its current positions in the Middle East and Eastern Affrica can protect its interests. Citizens are divided more today and evenly divided, but one side has a lot more power… there is more, but that is enough to support my point.

So, The President and his administration lied - again - about its aggressive interests to go to war. But that is OK for the World… because God told him to do it. Seriously.
