First George calls his mom on live TV to make sure she is actually watching, and tells her he loves her on the air… then tonight with Peter Mansbridge from Jerusalem talking about the Israeli election…
George: “… Peter Mansbridge, make check you out The National tonight, they are in Jerusalem tonight. Thanks for your time tonight man.”
Peter: “All right bro, take care.”
Yes, that’s right. George got the serious, veteran journalist and CBC anchor say “bro” on the air.
G, you rule. And so does your show.
Update 2006-03-30: CBC Meteorologist Claire Martin stripped for Stroumbo after tonight’s show (well, she took off her jacket to reveal a “the hour” t-shirt… but still).
