ArsTechnica | Canadian WiMAX network launched

For $45-$60/month replace your wired cable/adsl internet connection for a wireless one from Bell and Rogers. If it is as reliable as Rogers phone service, watch out. But an interesting new service for those on the move. Decent coverage areas, uses a licensed frequency band to limit interference from microwaves and cordless phones and is more secure than Toronto Hydro’s WiFi plan. But also more than 2x as expensive. Now I see why Ted Rogers was so miffed when the TH plan was announced.
