CBC News: Harper pays tribute to slain soldiers

The decision not to respect the ultimate sacrifice of four Canadians in Gumbad, Afghanistan by failing to lower our flag to mark the loss is disgrace. Failing to acknowledge our troops in this way, to lessen public awareness, for political gain is shameful. Actions speak much louder than words of sympathy. Shame on the new Canadian government. Shame on Mr. Harper who just months ago stood with the fallen.
