Measured with what scale

CBC News: Beirut bombings violate humanitarian law: UN

PM Steven Harper (aka Stevie to some) continues to stand behind his statement that the Isreali response to the kidnapping and retaliatory missile strikes is measured. It seems to be that Stevie’s measuring scale is off by an order of magnitude. To date, 375 civilians in Lebanon including 8 Canadians, 4 of which were children, have been killed. In Isreal, 17 civilans and 19 solidiers have lost there lives due to this “measured” response. Isreal states Hezbollah is the target of its aggression, but why has it destroyed the entire country when Hezbollah is only operating along the south boarder? The same boarder that the 2 soliders crossed when they were taken prisoner.

Reminds me of the same scale used in Iraq. 20,000 to 30,000 Iraqi’s dead compared to 2564 Coalition Troops.

People seem to have lost the concept of empathy. Before you act or speak, first put yourself in position of the other side and take a look from that perspective… what you see might amaze you…. seriously.
