CBC News: Alleged plot reminder of nation’s ‘war with Islamic fascists’: Bush

An alleged?plot to bomb commercial aircraft flying from Britain to the United States is a “stark reminder” that the U.S. is “at war with Islamic fascists,” U.S. President George W. Bush said Thursday….. (And that the plot) is “suggestive of an al-Qaeda plot.”

OK, I know W doesn’t understand most of what he is told to say, and most misquotes are attributed to his previous drug and alcohol abuse… but this one is obvious that he’s not talking about al-Qaeda despite the misdirection. If the US is at war with Islamic fascists, what fascist state are we talking about?

Fascism def’n: “A political philosophy, movement, or regime (as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition.”

I guess that is the same as people who hate the freedom of the West… or is it people want freedom from the West…

On the point that the sophistication and planning that went into this plot is suggestive of al-Qaeda… of course it must be al-Qaeda, because only all the smart “terrorists/freedom fighters” join it. Well, except for that silly guy that tried to light his shoe with a match infront of people, but he was only an al-Qaeda “sympathizer”.

But a summary of today’s events, since we have not been reminded in a while…
BE AFRAID, BE VERY AFRAID…. seriously.

An example of why you should be afraid of what is in that bottle of water or tube of hair gel… Boing Boing: If the liquid could be explosive, why are you dumping it in a crowd?
