CBC News - The Hour with George Stroumboulopoulos

I’m going to the taping of tonight’s The Hour, with Stroumbo G. Turns out there will not be any in studio guests, but the New Pornographers will be on and a piece on the closing of CBGB.

Remember, vote for George for the Gemini Viewers Choice Award.

Update: The taping was great. I got to see what goes on behind the scenes, meet George, and have the top of my head make it to air. The new set looks better in person than it does on screen. The new reporter Hilary seemed a bit nervous to start, but got comfortable quick and, to quote ex-Daily Show correspondent Rob Corddry, “nailed it”. George is the same straight up, direct, friendly, and funny guy he is on air.
