CBC.ca | Cassie Campbell makes history as HNIC analyst

I’d like to congratulate Cassie Campbell on her performance in the booth Saturday night on HNIC for the Leafs vs. Flames game. In addition to being the first woman colour commentator on HNIC, she was a fresh voice and nice change to Harry Neale. Harry and Bob Cole, doing play-by-play, was once the only “true” voice of the game, but they are getting to the point of retirement. I cannot count how many times one of them sees the play completely wrong and then spend 15 seconds commenting on something that never happened.
