Too little, too late, and for too much. Is this going to be Bill’s legacy? Going to make for lots of tech talk in business and tech circles. Google is king of search. Despite Yahoo!’s greater monthly hits per month they could not capitalise on that. Google made $1B in the last quarter (one billion dollars in 3 months!) because every service it provides supports the core business. Yahoo’s over payment for 2 services without a sustainable business model, del.icio.us and Flickr, does little for the top line.

So tell me, if one sinking ship is a disaster? Then what are 2 sinkings ships? Catastrophe or Powerhouse? I think they will just sink faster unless they see the writing on the wall and change the way the game is defined. Google is the best in the game. The only way to beat Google now is to change the rules of the game.
