Govern and stop playing games

globeandmail.com: Tories put election on the line for crime bill

There has been virtually nothing of importance on the order paper for month because the “New Government” has been expecting to force an election for months. Seems like somebody forgot to tell them that they are not in opposition anymore and Stevie can go see the GG to drop the writ anytime he wants an election. As our infrastructure is crumbling, a looming deficit thanks to the GST cut, no early-childhood education for our future generations, regressive environmental policies, and an unclear foreign policy, our government does nothing but play games to get the other guys to force an election. This at a time when the all these issues are at turning points and the proper directions need to be set now, or they may become out of reach very quickly.
